The Mosse-Zucker/Goldberg New Books Series is a partnership between the Mosse Lectures, George L. Mosse Program in History, and the Zucker/Goldberg Center for Holocaust Studies. Each event examines a new book in the social and cultural history of Europe. Our format starts with introductions followed by a forty-minute book talk by the author, before a commentator offers a twenty-minute response, concluding with audience Q&A.
Inspired by the research interests of George L. Mosse, this series focuses on new monographs in the fields of LGBTQ+ history, colonial history, and the history of the Second World War.
To maximize accessibility, each event in the MZG New Books Series premiers in a Zoom webinar before becoming available permanently on the Mosse Program YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/georgelmosseprogram).
