Thomas Macho: Cultural historian and philosopher. Thomas Macho served as Professor of Cultural History at the Humboldt University from 1993 to 2016. From 2016 to 2023, he led the IFK Internationales Forschungszentrum Kulturwissenschaften at the Kunstuniversität Linz in Vienna. He is the author of numerous books and was awarded the Austrian State Prize for Cultural Journalism in 2020.
